
Description
Repairs vehicles/equipment/machinery by performing the following duties and must be able to crawl under or climb in or on vehicles or equipment for maintenance and repair inspections.
Repairs, removes, and replaces moving parts and other components of vehicles, equipment or machinery.
Disassembles, repairs, removes, and replaces parts of engines, transmissions, drive assemblies, brakes, and clutches of vehicles, equipment or machinery.
Tunes, adjusts, and regulates equipment engines, valves, pumps, carburetors and other mechanical components with variable setting.
Lubricates and services vehicles, equipment or machinery and maintains accurate record of such service.
Requests repair parts and lubrication supplies as needed.
Assist in training less experienced employees on the proper servicing and repair of equipment to further their abilities. Perform general labor duties when necessary.
May be assigned miscellaneous tasks outside your craft to assist others as required.
