A successful Project Superintendent for Civil Construction will need to interface between Project Managers, Project Engineers, Foremen, Owners (DOT), Vendors, Subcontractors and other members of the project team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, meeting cost budgets, insuring full payment from owner, compliance with all contract requirements, detailed scheduling of construction operations and material orders, safety and environmental compliance, quality control and direct management of all project crews and resources.
Requires the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications and possess strong problem solving and analytical skills. Must be a self–starter with good communication skills, strong organization, detail oriented with the ability to retain big picture thinking.
